SUMMARY:Nomlaki Trail Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:Nomlaki Trail Field Trip \nMendocino National Forest\, Tehama County \nSaturday\, March 25\, 8 am \n  \nThe Nomlaki Trail in the foothills of Mendocino National Forest\, west of Paskenta. It is a three-mile\, easy-to-moderate roundtrip hike at 2000 ft. elevation. This trail has a wide diversity of serpentine plants and should have many new wildflowers as it recovers from a fire several years ago. This will be primarily a mixed chaparral field trip with a great understory of wildflowers. Time permitting\, we will drive further up the road to a conifer zone.  \n  \nBring plenty of water\, lunch\, and gas money for ride-sharing. Dogs on leashes at all times are welcome. Meet at the CVS parking lot on Placer Street in Redding at 8 am to carpool to the trailhead.  \nFor more information\, contact David Ledger at david@ecoshasta.org
