SEA’s annual event presents the stories and the work of people protecting our Sacramento River watershed region’s air, land, water, flora and fauna in an annual Environmental Champions reception. The comradery is evident and appreciated in these well attended events where SEA builds in plenty of time for socializing along with presentations on the lives and work of those honored.
These environmental stewardship awards can be awarded to:
- Individual Environmentalists in the greater Shasta County area
- Students
- Government agency staff persons whose work goes above and beyond their job description
Nominations are typically collected in early October. If you would like to nominate someone during this time period, go to ecoshasta.org and click on the “Environmental Award” menu. For more information, call David Ledger at 530-355-8542 or email ecoshasta@gmail.com.
