Boulder Creek Area Walking Field Trip (SEA/CNPS)

SEA and CNPS will be leading an educational field trip in the Boulder Creek and Churn Creek watersheds in a beautiful natural area in Redding city limits. Walk leader David Ledger will explain the basics of photosynthesis, carbon sequestration, and water transport in trees from the roots to the lops of trees. He will also identify native and non-native plants on this easy two mile walk. No prior science or botany knowledge is required as it will be explained in easy to understand terminology. This field trip will be a two mile walk on flat ground taking about two hours. This is limited to 15 people and you must sign up using this form: https://forms.gle/iroeTZQikCrCCzES8
